Originally order the Tanu but they weren’t the ones for me. Order the Maui after seeing a TikTok review and they are absolutely amazing! Got transitions and they look great as sunglasses as well!! Hip Optical has my stamp of approval!! ;-)

So my new frame’s arrived just in time for my solar eclipse viewing outing. The script is perfect and delivery was fast. This frame is like the Melvin except a different color. That is perfect for me. I have a smaller face and these do not overwhelm me. Great everyday go to glasses. 🤓
These are beautiful glasses and the rx/lens is crystal clear and perfect. They're a little heavy and slip down but I'm trying a few things off Amazon to help keep them in place.
I got the Ives in buff with rose gradient tint. Absolutely gorgeous. Very well made. The arms are a little light (I’m used to heavy frames), so I’ll just be careful. The gradiation came out perfect. A dark rose down to a light pink. Not too dark, just right. The frames are smaller than I thought, which is good. I didn’t want the giant aviator look. It shipped out the day I ordered it.
Worked out well, I chose gray which doesn’t get as dark as I would have liked. But still looks pretty good
I have now ordered several pairs of frames with light responsive lenses. In particular the Keliot is my favorite frame so far. I have gotten compliments at work and from women on the style of my eyewear. Hip Optical has exceeded my expectations in terms of the character and quality of the frames and lenses. I can’t recommend Hip Optical highly enough.

I have this frame in three different patterns! I love the shape and size, and the glasses are made of very nice, sturdy material. They have some heft to them, so be prepared to feel them on your face!
